i wear black to show who i am

or what i feel inside

most of the time i'm hollow

so i dont have a crowd to follow

i will not stand for being shallow

i am a strong girl..but i've been

hurt so many times

i've cried at night as the hours of the clock unwind

this is my hearts time to release

all the sadness all the hurt

and finally be open

i think about you

as i lie there..

wondering if your thinking about me

i'm finally truly in love

your passion covers me like a glove

but i want you to know i wont be broken

i wont be hurt

so if you want to leave

leave now and never return

for its my turn

to say i've always loved you to this day
